Wendy Lau started her career as a communication professional in 2001. She worked in the public relations industry at a healthcare PR agency for 8 years, where she managed corporate communication programs for emerging biotech, medical device and pharmaceutical companies. In addition to developing content on corporate materials, she also managed media relations, working with numerous journalists along the way.
In 2009, Wendy departed her PR career to become a stay-at-home mom with the arrival of her newborn.
In mid-2010, Wendy returned to the workforce heading in the direction of freelance writing. With a strong love for writing, she started WritingItUp.com to offer services to others in need of professional and quality writing.
